MASTER ROPE SUPPORT AND FALL PREVENTION STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master rope support and a fall prevention structure that may be installed safely and easily and suited to work on a roof surface above an opening.SOLUTION: In order to prevent falling of a worker from a high place on a building, a master rope support (5) comprises an engaging member (6) that engages with a master rope (4) in order to support the master rope (4) tied to the worker, and a wall support member (7) connected to the engaging member (6) and supported on an external wall (2). The external wall (2) includes an opening (20) and a rigid skeleton part installed beside the opening (20). The wall support member (7) includes an inner wall holding part (71) contacting the part of a wall surface (22) on the indoor side along the skeleton part.
