PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking member for locking movement of a rod by reliably engaging even the rod with a high approach speed, a door stop, and a rod locking mechanism.SOLUTION: A locking member locks a rod into a passage through which the rod passes. The passage has a speed suppression passage part which is formed in an approximately heart shape and which suppresses an approach speed by oscillating the rod making an entry into the passage, and an engaging part which regulates movement by engaging the rod subjected to suppression of the approach speed.
