COATING METHOD FOR BENTONITE-CONTAINING COMPACTED SOIL, AND COATING HYDROPHOBIC RESIN FOR BENTONITE-CONTAINING COMPACTED SOIL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method for bentonite-containing compacted soil by which reduction of moisture content of the bentonite-containing compacted soil can be suppressed and also construction is easily resumed.SOLUTION: A coating method is provided for suppressing reduction of moisture content of bentonite-containing compacted soil, and includes: a step of constructing bentonite-containing compacted soil 15 by scattering the bentonite-containing soil containing bentonite and water and compacting the same; and a step of applying hydrophobic resin on an exposed surface of the bentonite-containing compacted soil and forming a hydrophobic resin cured film 30 that covers the exposed surface. The hydrophobic resin does not dissolve into meniscus water on the exposed surface and does not take away the meniscus water from soil particles. Further, the hydrophobic resin does not allow water to permeate therethrough, therefore, acts as a barrier against water moving between inner and outer sides of the resin, immediately after applying the resin on the exposed surface until after forming the cured film. Also, the cured film 30 can be easily peeled off.
【課題】ベントナイト含有締固め土の含水比の低下を抑制することができ、且つ、工事の再開が容易であるベントナイト含有締固め土の養生方法を提供する。【解決手段】養生方法は、ベントナイト含有締固め土の含水比の低下を抑制するための養生方法であって、ベントナイトと水とを含んで撒き出されたベントナイト含有土を締め固めてベントナイト含有締固め土15を構築する工程と、ベントナイト含有締固め土15の露出表面に疎水性樹脂を適用し、露出表面を覆う疎水性樹脂の硬化膜30を形成する工程と、を有する。疎水性樹脂は当該露出表面のメニスカス水に溶け込まず、メニスカス水を土粒子から奪うこともない。また、疎水性樹脂は水を透過させないので、当該露出表面に適用した直後から硬化膜を形成した後に至るまで、その内外間の水の移動の障壁として働く。また、硬化膜30は容易に剥がすことができる。【選択図】図4
