PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorber capable of absorbing a shock when closing a connected door of a folding door, and capable of closing the connected door up tp the end.SOLUTION: A shock absorber is used for a connected door of including a pair of door panels rotatably connected in the horizontal direction by one hinge, and comprises a first body member 20 installed on one reverse surface of the pair of door panels, a second body member 21 installed on the other reverse surface and spring members 22 and 23 tensioned between the first body member and the second body member and mutually imparting tension force between both members. When the shock absorber is installed on the door panel, at least one spring member is positioned on the surface side of the door panel more than a rotary shaft when an angle between surfaces of the first body member and the second body member is a first predetermined angle or more, and energizes the pair of door panels in the closing direction, and is positioned on the reverse surface side more than the rotary shaft when the engle between the surfaces of the first body member and the second body member is less than the above-mentioned first predetermined angle, and energizes the pair of door panels in the opening direction.
【課題】折戸の連結戸を閉じる際の衝撃を吸収すると共に連結戸を最後まで閉じきることができる緩衝装置を提供する。【解決手段】1つの蝶番によって水平方向に回動可能に連結された1対の戸板を含む連結戸に用いられる緩衝装置は、1対の戸板の一方の裏面に取り付けられる第1の本体部材20と、他方の裏面に取り付けられる第2の本体部材21と、第1の本体部材及び第2の本体部材間に張設され、両部材間に互いに引張る力を与えるバネ部材22,23とを備えている。緩衝装置が戸板に取り付けられた場合に、少なくとも1つのバネ部材は、第1の本体部材及び第2の本体部材の表面間の角度が第1の所定角度以上である際は回動軸より戸板の表面側に位置して1対の戸板を閉じる方向に付勢し、第1の本体部材及び第2の本体部材の表面間の角度が上述の第1の所定角度未満の際は回動軸より裏面側に位置して1対の戸板を開く方向に付勢するように構成されている。【選択図】図2
