POROUS SiC SINTER BODY HAVING PROTECTION LAYER AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous SiC sinter body, in which adiabaticity and light-weight property are significantly improved, and oxidation resistance under a high temperature atmosphere is also provided because circulation of oxygen is inhibited, thereby adiabaticity is maintained, and to provide a production method thereof, which can easily and surely produce the porous SiC sinter body.SOLUTION: A porous SiC sinter body comprises: a body part 1 formed by the SiC sinter body which is porous; and a protection layer 21 which is porous or air tight state, for covering at least one surface of the body part 1.
【課題】多孔質SiC焼結体において、断熱性、軽量性などを飛躍的に推進させることができるものとし、加えて酸素の流通を阻害することで、殊に高温大気雰囲気下などでの耐酸化性をも備えさせ、もって断熱性の維持が図られるようにした。またこのような多孔質SiC焼結体を簡単且つ確実に製造できるようにする。【解決手段】多孔質化したSiC焼結体により形成された本体部1と、この本体部1の少なくとも一面を覆う気密質又は多孔質の保護層21とを有している。【選択図】図1
