PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily install a baseboard in stairs, with an excellent aesthetic appearance.SOLUTION: A baseboard 20 attached to a recessed corner part between a wall surface 2 provided with stairs 10 constituted of a plurality of treads 13 and a plurality of riser plates 12 and the tread 13 and to a recessed corner part between the wall surface 2 and the riser plate 12 comprises: a substantially L-shaped base part 21 having a horizontal base part 21a arranged along an upper surface of the tread 13 and a vertical base part 21b extended substantially vertically to one end of the horizontal base part 21a and arranged along the riser plate 12; a substantially L-shaped step part 22 having a horizontal step part 22a projected on one surface of the horizontal base part 21a and a vertical step part 22b projected on one surface of the vertical base part 21b; and a cover piece 23 made by projectingly one piece of the step part 22 on the tip side in the lengthwise direction more than one piece of the base part 21, provided on one piece of at least the base part 21 and the step part 22, and arranged superposed on a tip part of the other piece of the base part 21 and the step part 22 of the adjacent baseboard 20.
【課題】簡単且つ美観良く、巾木を階段に取り付ける。【解決手段】複数の段板１３と複数の蹴込み板１２とで構成される階段１０が設けられた壁面２と段板１３との間の入隅部及び壁面２と蹴込み板１２との間の入隅部に取り付けられる巾木２０であって、段板１３の上面に沿って配置される横ベース部２１ａと、横ベース部２１ａの一端に略垂直に延設され、蹴込み板１２に沿って配置される縦ベース部２１ｂとを有する略Ｌ字状のベース部２１と、横ベース部２１ａの一面に突設された横段部２２ａと、縦ベース部２１ｂの一面に突設された縦段部２２ｂとを有する略Ｌ字状の段部２２と、少なくともベース部２１及び段部２２の一片に、段部２２の一片がベース部２１の一片よりも長さ方向の先端側に突出して設けられ、隣接する巾木２０のベース部２１及び段部２２の他片の先端部に重ねて配置される覆片２３とを備える。【選択図】図１
