PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective net which can be constructed easily without using heavy equipment and further can absorb kinetic energy of falling stones efficiently by cooperating with a spreading net-like body, and a construction method of the protective net and reinforcement structure for an existing protective net and a construction method of the reinforcement structure.SOLUTION: A protective net 10 includes a spreading net-like body 11 spreaded in a slope S and a fixing means 20 for fixing the spreading net-like body 11 to the slope S. In at least a part of the spreading net-like body 11, a coil reinforcement part 41 in which a loop 42a is engaged to a net of the spreading net-like body 11 and which consists of a plurality of coils 42 in which the loop 42a is engaged mutually and coupled in parallel.
