PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture conditioning building material having sufficient moisture absorption and release properties to control humidity in a room, excellent in shape stability during absorbing and releasing moisture, having no coloring and excellent in strength as a building material, and a composition for moisture conditioning building material for manufacturing the moisture conditioning building material.SOLUTION: The composition for moisture conditioning building material contains a polymer having a group represented by -SO(M)and at least one kind of group selected from a group consisting groups represented by -COO(M), where n is an integer of 1 to 2, Mrepresents a hydrogen ion, a monovalent metal ion, a bivalent metal ion or an onium ion, and an inorganic material.
【課題】室内の湿度を制御するための十分な吸放湿特性を有すると共に、吸放湿時における形状安定性に優れ、着色がなく、建材としての強度に優れた調湿建材を提供する。また、その調湿建材を作製するための調湿建材用組成物を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る調湿建材用組成物は、−ＳＯ３−（Ｍｎ＋）１／ｎで表される基および−ＣＯＯ−（Ｍｎ＋）１／ｎで表される基よりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも１種の基（ここで、ｎは１〜２の整数であり、Ｍｎ＋は、水素イオン、一価の金属イオン、二価の金属イオン、またはオニウムイオンを表す。）を有する重合体と、無機材料と、を含有することを特徴とする。【選択図】なし
