PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe having a recess specification of not reducing compressive performance in the pipe axis direction, by also avoiding reduction in sticking performance between sediment and concrete in the ground.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a steel pipe 1 for forming a recess part 2 on a steel pipe outer peripheral surface 1a. The steel pipe 1 of applying the present invention comprises a straight pipe part 3 formed in a substantially straight pipe shape by extending in the pipe axis direction Y and the recess part 2 formed in a recess shape toward the inside in the pipe axis orthogonal direction X. The recess part 2 has substantially the same plate thickness as the straight pipe part 3, and the recess depth (a) formed in a more recessed shape than an outer peripheral surface 3a of the straight pipe part 3, satisfies the predetermined relationship in the relationship between a steel pipe outer diameter D and a steel pipe plate thickness (t).
【課題】地盤内の土砂やコンクリート等との付着性能の低下を回避すると同時に、管軸方向の圧縮性能を低下させない窪み仕様を有した鋼管を提供する。【解決手段】鋼管外周面1aに窪み部2が形成された鋼管1に関する。本発明を適用した鋼管1は、管軸方向Yに延びて略直管状に形成された直管部3と、管軸直交方向Xの内側に向けて凹状に形成された窪み部2とを備える。窪み部2は、直管部3と略同一の板厚を有するとともに、直管部3の外周面3aよりも凹状に形成された窪み深さaが、鋼管外径D及び鋼管板厚tとの関係で、所定の関係を満足するものとなる。【選択図】図4
