CRYSTAL-ORIENTED PIEZOELECTRIC CERAMIC AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a crystal-oriented piezoelectric ceramic arranged by use of a non-lead niobate alkali compound having a piezoelectric constant d33 comparable to that of a lead-containing material; and a method for manufacturing such a crystal-oriented piezoelectric ceramic.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a crystal-oriented piezoelectric ceramic comprises the steps of: preparing molding powder of a composition satisfying the general formula 1, i.e. (1-s)A1B1O-sM1M2O(where A1 represents an alkali metal, B1 represents at least one element of transition metal elements and includes Nb, M1 represents a divalent element, M2 represents a quadrivalent element, 1.02<α1≤1.10, and 0.05<1, and α2≤α1-0.045) is obtained.
【課題】鉛含有の材料と同等の圧電定数d33を持つ非鉛のニオブ酸アルカリ化合物を用いた結晶配向圧電セラミックス及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】一般式1:(1−s)A1α1B1O3−sM1M2O3(A1はアルカリ金属、B1は遷移金属元素の少なくとも一種の元素であってNbを含み、M1は2価の元素、M2は4価の元素であり、1.02<α1≦1.10、0.05<s≦0.15)を満たす組成の成形粉に調整する工程と、配向性成形体を得る工程と、酸素分圧が1?10−4kPa以下の雰囲気下で焼成する工程を有し、かつ、焼成工程においてA1を揮発させ、一般式2:(1−s)A1α2B1O3−sM1M2O3(但し、0.94≦α2<1で、かつα2≦α1—0.045)で表される組成の焼成体を得る。【選択図】図1
