PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use not only a bit having a serrated shape with a plurality of apex points and valley points equally spaced apart at its outer circumference but also a bit of regular hexagonal or regular square as seen from its top plan view.SOLUTION: A washer faced nut of this invention comprises a cylindrical sleeve segment 11 engaged in thread with an anchor bolt; and a disc-like flange segment 12 formed at the upper end of the sleeve segment 11. The lower surface of the flange segment 12 is provided with cutting blades 12a and in turn the upper surface of the flange segment 12 is provided with an engaged recess segment 12b engaged with a bit 2. The engaged recess segment 12b has its outer circumference of a serrated shape as seen from its top plan view in which a regular hexagonal acting as a reference shape and another regular hexagonal with a top plan view shape of the former regular hexagonal turned by 30 degrees around its center are overlapped to each other, a total number of its 12 apexes 12b1 are spaced apart by 30 degrees and valley points 12b2 are arranged between each of the apexes 12b1 one by one, and 12 apex points 12b1 and 12 valley points 12b2 are equally spaced apart (a spacing of 15 degrees), and recessed in a vertical direction from the upper surface of the flange segment 12 toward the lower end of the sleeve segment 11.
