PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating horizontal brace piece that allows a tip of a strut to be connected, in a way that enables angular adjustment, to a side surface of a wale.SOLUTION: A rotating horizontal brace piece comprises a wale side piece 6 fitted on a side surface of a wale 2 and a beam side piece 7 fitted at an end of a strut 3. The wale side piece 6 has a beam receiving part 9 protruded on a top surface of a base part 8. The beam side piece 7 protrudes from an undersurface of a base part 14, and has a rotary part connected rotatably to the beam receiving part 9. The beam receiving part 9 comprises the base part 8 and a pair of diagonal materials 10, 10 installed on a top surface of the base 8, diagonally on both sides of a symmetrical axis L parallel to the direction perpendicular to an axis of the wale 2, the diagonal materials being positioned symmetrically and facing each other. A fitting recess 11 is formed at an upper end of the beam receiving part 9, the fitting recess having the same curvature with an arc around a point on the symmetrical axis L, the arc being drawn on a plane that includes the symmetrical axis. The rotary part has a fitting protrusion formed at the same curvature with the fitting recess 11 and inscribed and fitted to the fitting recess 11.
