VINYL ALCOHOL COPOLYMER FOR USE IN AQUEOUS DISPERSION AND MELT EXTRUDED ARTICLE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process that can produce VOH/AMPS copolymers with satisfactory loading of polymerized AMPS, and is combined with relatively high productivity and low compositional drift.SOLUTION: A product comprises a cold water soluble film, wherein: a) the film comprises a copolymer of vinyl alcohol (VOH) with a minor amount of 2-acrylamido-2-methyl propane sulfonic acid in free acid form or as a salt of the free acid (AMPS); and the obtained film has a harsh chemical dissolution time of less than about 80 seconds measured by the harsh chemical dissolution test method after 8 weeks.
【課題】重合されたAMPSの十分な配合量を有するVOH/AMPSコポリマー及び前記ポリマーを製造でき、比較的高い生産性と低い組成ドリフトとを合わせ持つプロセスの提供。【解決手段】a)ビニルアルコール(VOH)と少量の遊離酸形の2−アクリルアミド−2−メチルプロパンスルホン酸(AMPS)またはそのような酸の塩とのコポリマーを含み、得られたフィルムが、8週間後のハーシュケミカル溶解試験法で測定された、約80秒未満のハーシュケミカル溶解時間を有する、冷水可溶性フィルムを含む製品。【選択図】なし
