THERMOELECTRIC POWER GENERATION DEVICE AND THERMOELECTRIC POWER GENERATION METHOD USING THE SAME
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric power generation device in which thermal energy is converted to electric energy and the electric energy is collected by utilizing a temperature difference between a heat source temperature in a process and an atmospheric temperature around the process in order to collect waste heat generated in a device for casting blast furnace slag into a dense coagulum.SOLUTION: A thermoelectric power generation device comprises a thermoelectric power generation module for converting thermal energy to electric energy, an insulation material installed on at least high temperature surface side of the thermoelectric power generation module, and a heat receiving plate receiving heat from the removed slag. The thermoelectric power generation unit is installed on the upper side and/or the lower side of a split-type metal mold of a slag casting device having the split-type metal mold continuously receiving molten slag.
