PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the life of a ceramic-made rolling bearing further and improve the corrosion resistance.SOLUTION: In a rolling bearing, at least one of an inner ring, an outer ring and rolling elements is formed by sintering a first constituent phase based on ZrOof a purity of 90% or higher and an oxide sintering auxiliary selected from YO, SiO, CeO, TiO, CaO and MgO and a second constituent phase composed of AlOof a purity of 95% or higher in a ratio of the first constituent phase:the second constituent phase of 50:50 to 95:5, and the total number of solid zirconia lumps and solid alumina lumps of particle sizes of 10-30 μm is 15 particles per 300 mmof the sintered body cross section.
【課題】セラミックス製転がり軸受の更なる長寿命化及び耐食性の向上を図る。【解決手段】内輪、外輪及び転動体の少なくとも一つが、純度90%以上のZrO2と、Y2O3、SiO2、CeO2、TiO2、CaOまたはMgOから選ばれる酸化物焼結助剤とを主成分とする第1構成相と、純度95%以上のAl2O3からなる第2構成相とを、質量比で、第1構成相:第2構成相=50:50〜95:5の割合で焼結してなり、かつ、粒径10〜30μmである中実のジルコニア塊及びアルミナ塊の合計個数が焼結体断面300mm2当たり15個以下であることを特徴とする転がり軸受。【選択図】図1
