LIFT LOSS REDUCTION DEVICE AND LIFT LOSS REDUCTION METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new lift loss reduction device advantageous to reduction of a lift loss to achieve a wide sewage collection range.SOLUTION: A lift loss reduction device 100 for feeding liquid flowing in from an upstream side vacuum pipe line 6 to a downstream side vacuum pipe line 10 installed at a position higher than the upstream side vacuum pipe line 6 includes: a water collection tank 7 for storing sewage flowing in from the upstream side vacuum pipe line 6; a suction pipe 3 having one end arranged within the water collection tank 7 and the other end connected to the downstream side vacuum pipe line 10; an atmosphere open valve 9 for communicating the water collection tank 7 with the atmosphere; an upper pressure take-out port 16 for taking out pressure of an upper portion of the water collection tank 7; a lower pressure take-out port 15 for taking out pressure of a lower portion of the water collection tank 7; and a controller 1 for opening the atmosphere open valve 9 by differential pressure between the pressure taken out by the upper pressure take-out port 16 and the pressure taken out by the lower pressure take-out port 15.
【課題】 リフト損失を低減して広い汚水収集範囲を実現するのに有利な新規なリフト損失低減装置を提供する。【解決手段】 上流側真空管路6から流入する液体を、上流側真空管路6よりも高い位置に設置される下流側真空管路10に送水するリフト損失低減装置100は、上流側真空管路6から流入する汚水を貯留するための集水タンク7と、一端が集水タンク7内に配置され、他端が下流側真空管路10に接続される吸込管3と、集水タンク7を大気に連通する大気開放弁9と、集水タンク7の上部の圧力を取り出す上部圧力取出口16と、集水タンク7の下部の圧力を取り出す下部圧力取出口15と、上部圧力取出口16によって取り出された圧力と下部圧力取出口15によって取り出された圧力との差圧によって、大気開放弁9を開くコントローラ1とを備えている。【選択図】 図1
