PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a wait time in vehicle entering or exiting even when the entering and exiting are both in process.SOLUTION: A mechanical parking device 10 has, as operation modes, an entry preferential mode, an exiting preferential mode, and an intermediate mode in which a lift conveying machine 14 stands by on a storage floor after a vehicle enters and the lift conveying machine 14 stands by on an entry floor after the vehicle exits. Then an operation mode switching part 41 switches the mechanical parking device among the entry preferential mode, exiting preferential mode, and intermediate mode according to time zones (time).
【課題】出庫と入庫とが混在する場合であっても、入庫又は出庫の待ち時間をより抑制できる、ことを目的とする。【解決手段】機械式駐車装置１０は、運転モードとして、入庫優先モード、出庫優先モード、及び車両を入庫させた後にリフト搬送機１４を格納階で待機させ、車両を出庫させた後にリフト搬送機１４を乗入階で待機させる中間モードを有する。そして、運転モード切替部４１によって、入庫優先モード、出庫優先モード、及び中間モードを時間帯（時刻）に応じて切り替える。【選択図】図２
