PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asphalt melting device capable of curtailing time needed to start operation with cold asphalt, enhancing safety when replenishing asphalt, and controlling at will supplies of molten asphalt.SOLUTION: An asphalt melting device includes: a tank having an input port and an internal cross-section of a size roughly the same as that of any of surfaces of a plate-form solid asphalt, except the largest surface, the input port being open facing upward to allow insertion of the solid asphalt; heating means installed at a bottom part of the tank for melting the solid asphalt by heating and making molten asphalt; a discharge port formed at a bottom edge of the tank for discharging the molten asphalt; and opening/closing means to open/close the discharge port at will and control discharging of the molten asphalt.
【課題】アスファルトが冷めた状態からの稼働開始時間を短くするとともに、アスファルトの補充を安全にすることができ、さらに、溶融アスファルトの供給を自在に制御する。【解決手段】板状の固形アスファルトの最も広い面を除くいずれかの面と略同じ大きさの投入口及び内側断面を有し、前記投入口が上方に向かって開口され前記固形アスファルトを前記投入口から挿入可能としたタンクと、前記タンクの中の底部に設けられ、前記固形アスファルトを加熱することで溶融し、溶融アスファルトとする加熱手段と、前記タンク下端に設けられた、前記溶融アスファルトを排出する排出口と、前記排出口を任意に開閉し、前記溶融アスファルトの排出を制御する開閉手段と、を備えることを特徴とする。【選択図】図１
