PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a plurality of improvements for reducing roof tile weight and making use of unique characteristics of a sash-bar crest, in addition to reducing a roof tile thickness and changing a form of the sash-bar crest.SOLUTION: In a roof tile body having a key-shaped first flashing protrusion, a surface of a sash-bar crest takes an angled gutter form, a hook piece is provided, a second flashing protrusion is formed at an overlapped part on a tail side in a trough part, accompanied by a swollen insular part. Also formed is a third flashing protrusion on a surface of an insertion part, having a varying height and facing toward a flow direction, and the swollen insular part is disposed between the first flashing protrusion and the second flashing protrusion. Thus, a Japanese roof tile is proposed that is light-weight, having a strength no inferior to conventional roof tiles, allowing clay fluidization and reducing a frequency of twisting and defective product occurrence.
【課題】 瓦の軽量化と、棧山の特異性等を発揮するために、瓦の肉厚を薄くすること、又は棧山の形状に変化を加えること、等の手法が採られている。しかし、意図を達成するためには、改良すべき多々の改良点が必要となる。【解決手段】 鍵形の第1水返し突条を備えた瓦本体において、棧山表面は、山形樋形状を呈し、引掛片を備え、谷部の尻側重なり部に第2水返し突条と、併設するように膨出島部を形成し、また、差込み部表面に、高さが異なり、かつ流れ方向に向かった、第3水返し突条を設け、膨出島部を、第1水返し突条と、第2水返し突条の間に設ける構成の瓦であり、軽量の瓦を製作し、かつ従来の瓦との強度の遜色がない構造であって、かつ粘土の流動化が図れ、又は捩れ発生頻度・不良品発生頻度が少ない構造の和形瓦を提案できる。【選択図】 図1
