PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for binding branches and trees which tightens collections of branches and trees and then binds the collections into a bundle by drawing a wire rope of a power winch prior to binding the collections of the branches and trees with a steel band and a resin band.SOLUTION: A method for binding branches and trees performs steps of: wrapping a wire rope guided through a guide sheave (11) around collections (20) of branches and trees, by using a power winch (5) fitted to a boom (1) of a power shovel and a wire rope holding device (6) that is fastened to a bucket arm (2) pivotally connected to a tip of the boom and includes the guide sheave (11) that guides a wire rope (10) drawn out from the power winch; and connecting the tip of the boom to the wire rope holding device and activating the power winch so as to draw the wire rope through the guide sheave, by which the collections of branches and trees are tightened and bound with the wire rope and then bound into a bundle.
【課題】枝木の集合物に、これをスチールバンドや樹脂バンドなどで結束するに先立って、動力ウインチのワイヤロープの引き込みにより枝木の集合物を引き締めて束にする、枝木の結束方法を提供することにある。【解決手段】パワーシャベルのブーム（１）に装着された動力ウインチ（５）と、ブームの先端に枢動可能に連結されたバケットアーム（２）に固定され、動力ウインチから引き出されたワイヤロープ（１０）を案内するガイドシーブ（１１）を含むワイヤロープ保持装置（６）とを使用し、ガイドシーブを通して案内されたワイヤロープを、枝木集合物（２０）の周りに掛けて、その先端をワイヤロープ保持装置に連結し、動力ウインチを作動してワイヤロープをガイドシーブを通して引き込み、それによって枝木集合物をワイヤロープで引き締めて束にする、枝木の結束方法を提供する。【選択図】図１
