PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch device for a drawer that engages and disengages a latch body with an engaging member promptly and securely, thereby preventing for certain jumping out of the drawer due to an earthquake and others, in addition to being of a simple structure and manufactured at a low cost.SOLUTION: A latch device for a drawer includes: a latch body 11 disposed on an inner surface of a front plate 5 of a drawer 4 that constitutes a cabinet, with an energizing spring 20 in between; an engaging member 3 fitted on an inner surface of a side plate 2 of a cabinet body 1, for freely engaging/disengaging the latch body 11; and an operation handle 17 disposed on an outer surface of the front plate 5 for advancing/withdrawing the latch body 11 toward/from the engaging member 3. The latch body 11 has a latch claw 12 formed at a tip part, and a latch shaft 15 disposed slidably on a rear part with cam mechanisms 14, 16 in between, the latch shaft being housed in a required operation chamber 13. The latch shaft 15 is connected to the operation handle 17, through a long insertion hole 18 formed through the front plate 5 of the cabinet body 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】本発明は、ラッチ体を係止部材に迅速かつ確実に係脱作動せしめ、地震等の揺れを生じた場合には抽斗の飛び出しを確実に防止せしめることが出来るのみならず、構造が簡単で安価に製作することが出来る、抽斗用ラッチ装置を提供するものである。【解決手段】キャビネットを構成する抽斗4の前板5内面に付勢バネ20を介してラッチ体11が配設され、該ラッチ体11を係脱自在に係止せしめるべくキャビネット本体1の側板2内面には係止部材3が取付けられ、ラッチ体11を該係止部材3方向に出退作動せしめるべく操作ハンドル17が上記前板5の外面に配設されてなり、上記ラッチ体11は先部にラッチ爪12が形成されると共に、同後部には所要の作動室13に収容されたラッチ軸15がカム機構14・16を介してスライド自在に設けられ、かつ、該ラッチ軸15はキャビネット本体1前板5の長孔状挿通孔18を通して操作ハンドル17に連結されている。【選択図】図2
