DISPLACEMENT RESTRICTION SEISMIC ISOLATOR AND SEISMIC ISOLATION SYSTEM
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain an excessive displacement caused by large-scale unexpected earthquake while keeping an effect of seismic isolation against an assumed middle or large-scale earthquake.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a displacement restriction seismic isolator 50 installed between a building 20 and a foundation 30 together with laminated rubber supporting bodies 40 for supporting an upper structure for its seismic isolation. The displacement restriction seismic isolator 50 comprises a displacement restriction resilient body 51 fixed to the foundation 30 and lock plates 52 fixed to the building 20. The displacement restriction resilient body 51 fixed to the foundation 30 has a shearing key 514 at an upper surface 516a opposing against the building 20. The shearing key 514 has an upper surface 514b always spaced apart in a vertical direction. In addition, the lock plate 52 and the shearing key 514 are installed in spaced-apart relation. When the building 20 shows a horizontal displacement more than a predetermined range against the foundation 30, the side surface of the lock plate 52 and the side surface of the shearing key 514 are abutted to each other to restrict their horizontal displacement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】想定内の中・大規模の地震に対する免震効果を維持しつつ、想定外の巨大な地震による過大な変位を抑制すること。【解決手段】上部構造物を免震支承する積層ゴム支承体40とともに、建築物20と基礎30の間に配置される変位抑制免震装置50である。変位抑制免震装置50は、基礎30に固定される変位抑制弾性体51と、建築物20に固定されるロックプレート52とを備え、変位抑制弾性体51は、建築物20と対向する上面516aに剪断キー514を有する。剪断キー514は、建築物20に対向する上面514bが鉛直方向に常時離間している。また、ロックプレート52と剪断キー514とは間隔をあけて配置され、且つ、建築物20が基礎30に対して所定範囲以上の水平変位が生じた際に、ロックプレート52の側面と剪断キー514の側面が当接することで水平変位を抑制する。【選択図】図2
