INORGANIC FIBER THERMAL INSULATION MATERIAL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic fiber thermal insulation material which is suppressed in convection of air and heat transfer within a thermal insulation material and has excellent thermal insulation performance.SOLUTION: An inorganic fiber thermal insulation material has a plurality of laminated inorganic fiber mats, and the inorganic fiber constituting the inorganic fiber mats has a fiber diameter of 3-5 μm and a fiber length of 20 mm or greater. The fibers of the inorganic fiber are bonded mutually with a thermoplastic binder at their joint points. The basis weight of the individual inorganic fiber mats is 300-600 g/m. The inorganic fiber thermal insulation material is inclined. The orientation angle of the inorganic fiber insulation material to the direction perpendicular to the thickness direction is 0 or larger and 20° or smaller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
