HIGHLY EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT GLASS PANEL DEVICE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly earthquake resistant glass panel device that withstands an inter-layer deformation angle of 1/40, a seismic intensity of 7, and a ceiling surface acceleration of 2.2G, preventing for certain falling and damaging of a glass panel even when an especially large inter-layer displacement has occurred.SOLUTION: A highly earthquake resistant glass panel device retains a glass panel stably even in a locking state, in which a column is slanted as it tracks an inter-layer displacement at a time of earthquake. A glass panel 6 includes a glass plate 7 and a frame body 8. The frame body has vertical frame members 9 on both sides, an upper horizontal frame member 10 and a lower horizontal frame member 1 connected with a connection metal fitting 12, and has a holding groove 13 formed along an inner peripheral part for holding edges of the glass plate. The frame body is fixed on a column 5 on at least one side, to allow the frame body to get deformed as it tracks the slanting of the column, with the connection metal fitting at a center. Furthermore, the holding groove on the frame body is sufficiently deep so as to prevent the edges of the glass plate from coming in contact with a bottom part of the holding groove, when the frame body is deformed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
【課題】層間変形角1/40、震度7、天井面加速度が2.2Gに耐え、特に大きな層間変位が生じてもガラス板の脱落や破損の恐れがない高耐震性ガラスパネル装置を提供する。【解決手段】地震時の層間変位に追従して支柱が傾斜してロッキング状態になってもガラスパネルを安定に保持し得る高耐震性ガラスパネル装置において、ガラスパネル6は、ガラス板7と枠体8とからなり、該枠体は、両側縦枠9、上横枠10及び下横枠1とを連結金具12で連結するとともに、ガラス板の周囲を保持する保持溝13を内周部に備え、枠体を少なくとも一側の支柱5に固定し、枠体が連結金具を中心に支柱の傾斜に追従して変形可能であるとともに、該枠体の変形時にガラス板の周囲が保持溝の底部に当接しないように該保持溝の深さを十分に確保してなる。【選択図】 図7
