PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary lock for a sliding door that suppresses a noise when shifting from a locked state to an unlocked state.SOLUTION: An auxiliary lock for a sliding door includes a base plate 7 fitted on an indoor side of one of sliding doors 1, 2 installed on an outdoor side and an indoor side, and lock plates 10, 11 pivotally fitted on the base plate in a foldable way. The lock plate is capable of shifting between an unlocked state and a locked state, the unlocked state having the lock plate positioned outside of a range of movement of the other of the sliding doors when being folded toward the base plate side, for allowing movement of the other sliding door, and the locked state having the lock plate protruding into the range of movement of the other sliding door and coming into contact with the other sliding door, thereby blocking movement of the other sliding door. The auxiliary lock for a sliding door has magnets 20, 21 fitted on a rear surface of the lock plates, thus enabling the unlocked state of the lock plate maintained with magnetic force of the magnets. The unlocked state of the lock plate is maintained also by forming a gap between an attraction face of the magnets and the base plate when the lock is unlocked.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】ロック状態からアンロック状態へ移行する際の異音を抑制する引戸用補助錠を提供する。【解決手段】内外に配置した引戸1,2の一方の引戸の屋内側に取付ける基板7と、基板に折り畳み可能に枢着するロック板10,11と、を備える。ロック板は、基板側へ折り畳み時に他方の引戸の移動域外に位置して他方の引戸の移動を許容するアンロック状態と、他方の引戸の移動域内に突出して他方の引戸と当接し、引戸の移動を阻止するロック状態と、を形成可能にされている。ロック板の裏面にマグネット20,21を取り付け、マグネットの磁力によってロック板のアンロック状態を維持可能にした引戸用補助錠であり、また、アンロック時にマグネットの吸着面と基板との間に空隙を設け、ロック板のアンロック状態を維持可能にする。【選択図】図1
