PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road sign post having sufficient strength to withstand a colliding car, at the same time controlling collision by a car.SOLUTION: A road sign post has at least two columns installed next to each other, the column having a flexible pole that elastically bends when collided by a car. A beam is spanned between upper ends of the pole of the column, and a metallic-color coating is applied all over an entire surface of the pole and the beam. When subjected to external force, the entire pole flexibly bends to release the external force and prevent destruction. Since the poles and the beam bear a metallic color, car operators are likely to erroneously recognize the members as metallic members and avoid collision to the road sign post.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】車両の接触などに対して十分な強度を有すると共に、車両の接触を抑制する道路用標示体を提供する。【解決手段】車両の接触によって弾性的に曲がる可撓性を備えるポールを有する柱部を少なくとも2個並設させ、この柱部のポールの上端間にビーム部が架設させると共に、前記ポールの外面、及びビーム部の外面の全体に亘って金属色塗装が施す。外力を受けたときにはポール全体が撓んでこの外力を逃がし、破壊されにくくなされる。また、前記ポールとビーム部とを金属調の外観に設けるので、車両の運転者がこれらの部材を金属製と誤認して道路用標示体への車両の接触を忌避させる効果が期待できる。【選択図】 図1
