PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of enhancing visibility and attractiveness of an illumination object, by illuminating the illumination object such as a sign device in an appearance as if it flashes.SOLUTION: A luminaire 1 for illuminating a sign surface 2a of a road sign 2, comprises a first light source L1 and a second light source L2 constituted so as to radiate the light toward the same area. The first light source L1 and the second light source L2 emit the light being the substantially same color temperature but different in a spectral characteristic. The first light source L1 and the second light source L2 are alternately controlled for lighting, and the road sign 2 is illuminated, so that visibility and attractiveness are improved as a flashed appearance by changing brightness of a sign pattern 2b of the sign surface 2a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】標識装置等の照明対象を、あたかも点滅するような外観で照明し、照明対象の視認性や誘目性を高めることを可能にした照明装置を提供する。【解決手段】道路標識２の標識面２ａを照明する照明装置１は同一領域に向けて光を照射するように構成された第１の光源Ｌ１と第２の光源Ｌ２を備える。第１の光源Ｌ１と第２の光源Ｌ２はほぼ同じ色温度であるが分光特性が異なる光を出射する。第１の光源Ｌ１と第２の光源Ｌ２を交番的に点灯制御して道路標識２を照明することで、標識面２ａの標識パターン２ｂの明るさを変化させ、点滅した外観として視認性と誘目性を向上する。【選択図】 図１
