CONNECTION STRUCTURE OF ROOF MATERIAL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a connection structure of a roof material capable of preventing large quantity flooding caused by a siphon phenomenon, on intrusion of rainwater from a fitting part between an upper seam and a lower seam.SOLUTION: A connection structure of a roof material is provided for covering a roof of a building structure by mutually connecting the mutual roof materials together, by respectively fitting a lower seam 2 and an upper seam 3 of the respective roof materials to an upper seam 3 and a lower seam 2 of the roof material 1 adjacently arranged to these, by arranging a plurality of roof materials 1 having the lower seam 2 on one end in the width direction of a body part and having the upper seam 3 on the other end in the width direction of the body part, in a laterally juxtaposed state along the eaves direction, and a clearance L of at least 2.0 mm is provided at a horizontal distance between an outside wall surface 2aof a head part 2a of the lower seam 2 and an inside wall surface of the upper seam 3 on a fitting part for fitting the lower seam and the upper seam.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】上ハゼと下ハゼとの嵌合部からの雨水等の侵入について、サイフォン現象に起因する大量浸水を防止できる屋根材の接続構造を提案する。【解決手段】本体部分の幅方向の一端に下ハゼ2を有し、該本体部分の幅方向の他端に上ハゼ3を有する複数枚の屋根材1を、軒方向に沿い横並び状態で配列するとともに、各屋根材の下ハゼ2、上ハゼ3を、これに隣接配置する屋根材1の上ハゼ3、下ハゼ2にそれぞれ嵌合させて屋根材同士を相互につなぎ合わせて建築構造物の屋根を葺きあげる屋根材の接続構造において、前記下ハゼと前記上ハゼとを嵌合させた嵌合部位につき、該下ハゼ2の頭部2aの外側壁面2a1と、該上ハゼ3の内側壁面との間に水平距離にして少なくとも2.0mmの隙間Lを設ける。【選択図】図3
