METHOD FOR PRODUCING TRANSLUCENT ZIRCONIA SINTERED COMPACT, TRANSLUCENT ZIRCONIA SINTERED COMPACT OBTAINED BY THE PRODUCTION METHOD, AND CALCINED BODY BEFORE SINTERING FOR PRODUCING TRANSLUCENT ZIRCONIA SINTERED COMPACT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zirconia sintered compact high in translucency and excellent in aesthetic properties.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a translucent zirconia sintered compact comprising: a step (I) where a zirconia sol (A) containing, as a stabilizer, yttria of 2 to 4 mol% and also containing partially stabilized zirconia fine particles with the average particle diameter of 30 nm or lower is dried to obtain zirconia powder (B) with the average particle diameter of 3 μm or lower and also with the maximum particle diameter of 10 μm or lower; a step (II) where the zirconia powder (B) is press-molded to obtain a press-molded body; and a step (III) where the press-molded body is fired at 900 to 1,200°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】透光性が高く、審美性に優れたジルコニア焼結体を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の透光性ジルコニア焼結体の製造方法は、(I)安定化剤として2〜4モル%のイットリアを含み、かつ平均一次粒子径が30nm以下の部分安定化ジルコニア微粒子を含むジルコニアゾル(A)を乾燥させて、平均粒子径が3μm以下で、かつ最大粒子径が10μm以下のジルコニア粉末(B)を得る工程と、(II)前記ジルコニア粉末(B)をプレス成形して、プレス成形体を得る工程と、(III)前記プレス成形体を900℃〜1200℃で焼成する工程と、を含む。【選択図】なし
