PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable restraint on not only deformation of a cross-sectional shape of a structure for civil engineering work but also deformation of the whole shape, and enhance the effect of preventing a breakage of a bag body for the civil engineering work.SOLUTION: A bag body for civil engineering work includes an embracing bag 20 that has an annular space 21 with an opened upper port, an annular filling material 30 that is housed in the embracing bag 20, and embracing bag opening closing means for closing an opening of the annular space. The embracing bag 20 closes the opening of the annular space, and circumferentially embraces the annular filling material 30 to form annular restraining earth 30a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
