PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furniture door lock device of a simple structure that prevents a furniture door from opening unexpectedly due to tampering by a child or shaking due to an earthquake and other reasons, and may be fitted afterwards on an existing sliding door readily.SOLUTION: A furniture door lock device includes: an outer tube part 29 fitted by piercing through a sliding door 15; a protruded rod 31 that is movable in a direction along an axial line 47 inside the outer tube part 29 and around the axial line, and may be inserted into and withdrawn from an engaging hole 49 freely, the engaging hole being pierced through the other sliding door 25 in a door frame part or a door meeting part 27; an operation part 33 formed integrally with the protruding rod 31 and exposed on a surface 57 of the sliding door 15; an energizing member 35 that energizes the protruding rod 31 toward a direction to be withdrawn from the engaging hole 49; a guide pin 37 extended in a radial direction on either an inner periphery of the outer tube part 29 or on an outer periphery of the operation part 33; and a cam groove 39 disposed on the other of the inner periphery of the outer tube part 29 or the outer periphery of the operation part 33 and engaged with the guide pin 37, for regulating a position of the protruded rod 31 between a position engaged with the engaging hole 49 and a withdrawn position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
