THERMOELECTRIC MATERIAL AND THERMOELECTRIC MODULE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric material having an excellent thermoelectric property, which enables the increase in electric conductivity or the reduction in thermal conductivity.SOLUTION: A thermoelectric material comprises at least Cr and Si as primary components. The thermoelectric material further comprises an element (A) which at least belongs to the same group as Cr, and is larger than Cr in atomic weight; and the element (A) is Mo or W. The thermoelectric material further comprises: an element (B) of which the compound with Si has a crystal structure of the same form as the crystal structure of a compound of Cr and Si; the element (B) is larger than Cr in atomic weight; and the element (B) is Nb or Ta.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
