PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a regeneration control to be effectively executed at an engine device installed for work machine comprising an engine 70 acting as a source of force power and a filter device 60 for purifying exhaust gas arranged at an exhausting passage of the engine 70.SOLUTION: An engine device installed for a work machine comprises a control means 311 for executing a regeneration control of a filter device 60 and an informing means 337. The engine device is installed at a work machine having a travel part and a work part driven by a force power of the engine 70. A control means 311 executes a regeneration control of a filter device 60 under an assumption that a regeneration condition is already established when an accumulated amount at the filter device 60 exceeds a prescribed amount and at the same time the work part is not operated and the travel part is stopped, and execution of the regeneration control is informed by an informing means 311.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
