PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mailbox which can be easily replaced with an existing mailbox embedded in a gatepost, a gatepost with the mailbox, and a method for replacing the mailbox.SOLUTION: A mailbox 3 according to one embodiment of the invention is the mailbox 3 which is installed in an installation hole 10 as a substitute for an existing mailbox 2 installed in the installation hole 10 of a gatepost 1 through first joint filler 4. The mailbox 3 has a main body 32, the overall size of which is smaller than that of the existing mailbox 2. The main body 32 of the mailbox 3 is installed through second joint filler 5 inside the first joint filler 4 left in the installation hole 10 in a frame shape when the existing mailbox 2 is detached from the installation hole 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】門柱に埋め込まれた既設の郵便受けと簡単に交換することができる郵便受け、この郵便受け付き門柱及びこの郵便受けの交換方法を提案する。【解決手段】本発明の実施形態の郵便受け３は、門柱１の取付孔１０内に第一目地材４を介して設置された既設の郵便受け２に代えて、取付孔１０内に取り付けられる郵便受け３である。本発明の実施形態の郵便受け３は、既設の郵便受け２よりも小さな外形の本体３２を備える。本発明の実施形態の郵便受け３は、取付孔１０内から既設の郵便受け２を取り外す際に取付孔１０内に枠状に残した第一目地材４の内側に、第二目地材５を介して本体３２が取り付けられるものである。【選択図】図１
