PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stump cutting device which is excellent in workability.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a stump cutting machine for removing stumps remaining on the ground. The stump cutting machine is at least equipped with: a detachable part for attaching to an arm tip of a heavy machine; a cylindrical casing; and a plurality of bits which are provided on the lower side of the casing. The stump cutting machine is also at least equipped with: a drilling part which can rotate in the axial direction of the casing; a fixed part which is disposed on the inside of the drilling part and can be inserted into the stump; and a lifting part which can move the drilling part vertically with respect to the fixed part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
