REPAIR METHOD FOR DRAINER AT LOWER PART OF EXTERIOR WALL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair method for a drainer at a lower part of an exterior wall that enables repair of the drainer by working only from outside of the building, and the repaired drainer to be fixed securely on the exterior wall, at the same time preventing corrosion of an edge part of an existing exterior wall, rainwater leakage, and fall-off after repair.SOLUTION: After removing a lower part of an exterior wall 5 near a drainer installation place, or the lower part of the exterior wall along with an existing drainer, with existing furring strips 4, 4' left as is, substrate hardware members 6, 7 having a protrusion at a same place on an inner side and an outer side of a building are fixed on the existing furring strip 4, and then a new drainer 9 is fixed using the hardware members 6, 7. At the same time, a starter 11 is fixed in a horizontal direction at a lower edge part of the existing exterior wall, with a foam packing 10 in between. With the repair method for a drainer at a lower part of an exterior wall, only a part of the exterior wall is removed, instead of a large portion of the exterior wall, the repair method also enabling the drainer to be repaired without welding work and by working only from outside of the building.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】建家の外部のみからの作業による水切りの改修を可能とし、改修後の水切りを確実に外壁に固定せしめるとともに、改修後における既存外壁の小口部の腐食、雨漏りの防止および落下防止をも可能とする、外壁下部水切りの改修方法を提供する。【解決手段】水切り設置付近の外壁５下部またはこれと既存の水切りとを、既存胴縁４，４’を残存させた状態で撤去した後、建家内部側および外部側の各々同一位置に凸部を有する下地金物部材６，７を既存胴縁４に固定したうえで、これらの金物部材６，７を用いて新規水切り９の固定を行うとともに、既存外壁の下端部に、発泡体パッキン１０を介してスタータ１１を水平方向に固定する。この外壁下部水切りの改修方法では、外壁の広範囲ではなく一部のみを切除するのみで、溶接作業を伴うことなく、建家の外部のみからの作業による水切りの改修を可能とする。【選択図】図３
