PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking/unlocking device and a locking/unlocking system that may be fitted readily on an existing door, and enables remote-operated locking and unlocking of the door.SOLUTION: A locking/unlocking device is fitted on an existing door, for locking/unlocking the door by remote operation, and includes: an enclosure; a fixing jig for fixing the enclosure to a thumb turn of the door; a rotor housed in the enclosure, the rotor locking and unlocking the door by rotating the thumb turn; a drive part engaged with the rotor, the drive part rotating the rotor in a direction of rotation of the thumb turn; a receiving part that receives an instruction signal for locking or unlocking the door; and a control part that controls the drive part in accordance with the instruction received by the receiving part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
