JOINT SEALANT AND FITTING STRUCTURE THEREOF
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint sealant and a fitting structure thereof that prevent leakage of sediment, retained water and others even in a case of displacement that equals to or exceeds a primary allowance.SOLUTION: A joint sealant 10 includes: a secondary water cutoff member 12 formed of an elastic material and having both edges fixed on caissons 51, 51 placed adjacent to each other on both sides of a joint part 52, and an excess length part 12a that prevents leakage from a part between the caissons 51, 51; and a primary water cutoff member 11 disposed on one side of the secondary water cutoff member 12, having both edges fixed on the caisson 51, 51 on both sides of the joint part 52, and preventing leakage while allowing displacement between the caissons 51, 51. When displacement is up to a primary allowance set, the first water cutoff member 11 allows the displacement and restricts displacement of the excess length part 12a, and when displacement exceeds the primary allowance, the excess length part 12a allows the displacement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】1次許容量だけでなく1次許容量を越えた変位量に対しても土砂、保有水などの漏洩などを防止できる目地材およびその取付構造を提供する。【解決手段】目地材10は、弾性素材によって形成されて目地部52を跨いで隣接するケーソン51,51に両端部が固定されケーソン51,51間の漏洩を防止する余長部12aを有する2次止水部材12と、2次止水部材12の一方側に設けられて目地部52を跨いでケーソン51,51に両端部が固定されケーソン51,51間の変位を許容して漏洩を防止する1次止水部材11と、を備え、設定した1次許容量の変位までは、1次止水部材11で変位を許容して余長部12aの変位を規制し、1次許容量の変位を越える変位量に対しては、余長部12aにより変位を許容可能に構成する。【選択図】図4
