CONSTRUCTION MACHINE BOOM
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine boom capable of decreasing weight and ensuring sufficient strength.SOLUTION: A long boom 11 that is longer than a standard one comprises: a box structure 12 consisting of right and left side plates 13, 13', an upper plate 15, and a lower plate 17; a foot part fitting member 19; an arm fitting member 20; and a boom cylinder fitting member 21. The side plates 13, 13'of the box structure 12 comprise three members including rear plates 13A, 13A', intermediate side plates 13B, 13B', and front plates 13C, 13C', respectively. Each plate thickness of the front plates 13C, 13C' are thinner than that of the rear plates 13A, 13A'. The upper plate 15 comprises two members including a rear upper plate 15A and a front upper plate 15B. A plate thickness of the front upper plate 15B is thinner than that of the rear upper plate 15A. The lower plate 17 comprises three members including a rear lower plate 17A, rear-side intermediate lower plate 17B, front-side intermediate lower plate 17C, and front lower plate 17D. 【課題】 軽量化を図りつつ十分な強度を確保することができる建設機械用ブームを提供する。【解決手段】 標準よりも長尺なロングブーム11を、左,右の側板13,13′、上板15および下板17からなる箱型構造体12、フート部取付部材19、アーム取付部材20、ブームシリンダ取付部材21により構成する。箱型構造体12の各側板13,13′は、後側板13A,13A′、中間側板13B,13B′、前側板13C,13C′の3部材により構成し、後側板13A,13A′よりも前側板13C,13C′の板厚を薄く設定する。上板15は、後上板15A、前上板15Bの2部材により構成し、後上板15Aよりも前上板15Bの板厚を薄く設定する。下板17は、後下板17A、後寄り中間下板17B、前寄り中間下板17C、前下板17Dの3部材により構成し、後下板17Aよりも前下板17Dの板厚を薄く設定する。【選択図】 図5
