PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical parking facility device with a simple structure capable of detecting residual displacement.SOLUTION: A mechanical parking facility device absorbs an earthquake motion through a vibration-proof material between an earth side structure 2 and a seismic isolation side structure 3, and has a residual displacement detector 16 between the earth side structure 2 and the seismic isolation side structure 3. A vehicle riding part is installed on the seismic isolation side structure 3, while a lift lifting part to move a palette up and down on a hoistway communicating to the vehicle riding part and a vehicle storage part are installed on the earth side structure 2. The residual displacement detection device 16 comprises a photoelectric sensor with a floodlight 16a disposed on either one of the earth side structure 2 and the seismic isolation side structure 3, and an optical receiver 16b disposed on the other one of the earth side structure 2 and the seismic isolation side structure 3. The residual displacement is detected based on a light-receiving optical axis horizontal width that changes depending on a clearance dimension between the floodlight 16a and the optical receiver 16b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
