ADIABATIC WALL MATERIAL AND WALL CONSTRUCTION METHOD USING THE SAME
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adiabatic wall material which can effectively prevent contact of condensed water or indoor water vapor (i.e., moisture) with a pillar member and increase the lifetime of the pillar member, and a wall construction method using the adiabatic wall material.SOLUTION: A adiabatic wall material includes: an inorganic fiber mat having an outer face, a back face, right and left side faces, and front and rear side faces; and a moisture-proof sheet attached to the back face of the inorganic fiber mat. The moisture-proof sheet includes a back-face sheet portion and extended sheet portions. The back-face sheet portion covers the back face, and the extended sheet portions have a width not smaller than the width of the right and left side faces and the front and rear side faces (i.e., the gap between the outer face and the back face) and externally extend from the edges formed by the back face and the right, left, front, and rear side faces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
