TILT-RESTRAINING CONSTRUCTION METHOD AND BRIDGE PIER
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt-restraining construction method for making an existing bridge pier directly built in the ground difficult to be tilted, by which construction can be operated safely at a low cost and the construction period can be shortened.SOLUTION: A tilt-restraining construction method is provided, for making an existing bridge pier 10 directly built in the ground difficult to be tilted, in which resistance means R is attached to the existing bridge pier 10, and when external force that generates a moment acting toward tilting direction of the existing bridge pier 10 is applied to the existing bridge pier 10, the resistance means R is capable of generating resistance force in a direction of cancelling the moment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
