RAW SETTER FOR FIRING HONEYCOMB MOLDING AND METHOD FOR FIRING HONEYCOMB MOLDING
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw setter that can be isotropically firing and shrinking a honeycomb molding without restricting it.SOLUTION: A raw setter 1 has a plate shape, is made of the same material as that of a honeycomb molding 100, and has a chamfered portion 10 having a tapered cross-sectional shape where the diameter of one end surface portion is made smaller than the outer diameter by obliquely chamfering an outer peripheral portion of the one end surface. The ratio of an area of a flat portion 12 to an end surface area is 10-85%. An angle formed between the flat portion 12 and the chamfered portion 10 is 3-50°. The flatness of each of the flat portion 12 of the one end surface and a flat portion of the other end surface 16 is 0.3 mm or less. The thickness of a cell partition wall is 0.1 mm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】ハニカム成形体を拘束せずに等方的に焼成収縮させることが可能な生トチの提供を課題とする。【解決手段】生トチ1は、板状を呈し、ハニカム成形体100と同一素材で形成され、一方の端面の外周部が斜め方向に面取りされ、外径に対して端面部が縮径してなる断面テーパー形状を呈する面取部10を有し、平坦部12の面積の端面面積に対する比率が、10〜85%であり、平坦部12及び面取部10の間のなす角度が、3〜50°であり、一方の端面の平坦部12及び他方の端面16の平坦部のそれぞれの平面度が、0.3mm以下であり、セル隔壁の隔壁厚さが、0.1mm以下である。【選択図】図4
