PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic power generator allowing extremely easy installation outside an existing channel except for a suction tube and a discharge tube, and provide an installation method therefor.SOLUTION: A hydraulic power generator 1 according to the present embodiment comprises a water tank 2, a turbine 3, legs 4 and a power generator 7. The water tank 2 has a suction tube 5 for absorbing water on the upstream side of a channel and guiding water to the water tank 2, and a discharge tube 6 for draining water in the water tank 2 to the downstream side of a suction port 5a. The turbine 3 rotates by receiving energy of a swirl generated in the water tank 2 around a rotational axis arranged in a substantially vertical direction within the water tank 2, and the power generator 7 rotates via a shaft 9. The legs 4 support at least a main body of the generator. The suction tube 5, the water tank 2 (including the power generator 7 and the turbine 3) and the discharge tube 6 maintain a sealed state except for the suction port 5a and a discharge port 6a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】吸水管と排水管は除いて、既存の水路の外に非常に簡単に設置することを可能にした水力発電装置およびその設置方法を提供する。【解決手段】本実施形態における水力発電装置1は水槽2とタービン3と脚4と発電機7とを備える。水槽2は、水路上流の水を吸水し、前記水槽2に導く吸水管5と前期水槽2の水を吸水口5aより下流に流出させるための排水管6とを備える。タービン3は、水槽2の内部に配置されたほぼ鉛直方向の回転軸を中心に水槽2内で発生した渦のエネルギーによりタービン3を回転させ、シャフト9を介して発電機7を回転させる。脚4は、少なくとも装置本体を支える。吸水管5と水槽2(発電機7とタービン3を含む。)と排水管6は、吸水口5aと排水口6aを除いて密閉状態を保持している。【選択図】図1
