MINING DEVICE FOR SEABED DEPOSIT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mining device for seabed deposit capable of accumulating excavation muck from a conventional seabed excavator on a mining mother ship afloat on the sea and at anchor, without using a large-output submerged pump and with less labor in shorter work time.SOLUTION: A mining device for seabed deposit includes a body frame 2 having a pair of crawlers 3, 3 on right and left disposed for traveling on seabed and seabed deposit, and an arm 6 disposed in front of the body frame. On a tip of the arm, the following components are installed separately: a scooping port 71 for scooping excavation muck (lump) Dm that has accumulated on the seabed, the excavation muck coming from a seabed mining excavator; a crusher 8 for roughly crushing the scooped excavation muck Dm to a size that enables underwater suction; and a bucket 7 having an exhaust port 72 for discharging the crushed seabed deposit, the bucket allowing at least vertical swinging and upward slewing of the scooping port 71 from a front side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】従来の海底掘削機により掘削された掘削ズリを大きな出力の水中ポンプを用いることなく少ない労力と少ない作業時間で海上に停泊している採鉱母船に集積が可能な海底鉱床採鉱装置を提供する。【解決手段】海底および海底鉱床上を走行する左右一対のクローラ3,3が備えられている本体フレーム2の前方に配置されているアーム6の先端に別途海底鉱床掘削機により海底に堆積している掘削ズリ(塊)Dmを掬い取るための掬取口71ならびに前記掬い取った掘削ズリDmを水中吸引可能な大きさに粗砕するためのクラッシャー8、更に前記粗砕された海底鉱床を排出するための排出口72を有するバケット7が少なくとも俯仰可能に且つ前記掬取口71を前方から上方に旋回可能に取り付けた。【選択図】図1
