PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared reflective material having both a high retro-reflectance and a high visible light transmittance.SOLUTION: There are provided an infrared reflective material, a heat ray shielding material, and a window pane in which a metal particle-containing layer is formed on a support body; the metal particle-containing layer has a concavo-convex structure including a plurality of at least one of projections or recesses; the metal particle-containing layer contains at least one type of metal particles on a surface of the at least one of projections or recesses of the concavo-convex structure; the metal particles contain hexagonal or circular planar metal particles by 60% by number or more; and the planar metal particles having a surface orientation in a range of 0° to ±30° of an angle, which is formed by a major plane of the planar metal particle and the surface of the concavo-convex structure closest to the planar metal particle, are included by 50% by number or more with respect to the whole planar metal particles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
