PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastoplastic hysteretic damper capable of functioning as a damper against input from a plurality of directions.SOLUTION: An elastoplastic hysteretic damper 10 capable of being applied to a building and/or a structure includes one or more plates. A pair of shear parts is erected on the plate. An impact, which is generated when a horizontal force equal to or exceeding a predetermined level is input, is attenuated by shearing plastic deformation of the shear part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
