FITTING STRUCTURE AND FITTING METHOD FOR WOODY HANDRAIL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure for a woody handrail for readily fitting the handrail.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a fitting structure for a woody handrail with which a woody handrail 1 is fitted on a bracket 5 fixed on a construction surface, with a connection metal fitting 6 in between. The connection metal fitting 6 includes a female metal fitting 7 provided with a hooking slot 75, and a male metal fitting 8 provided with a hooking head part 86 at a tip of a connection pin 85. The female metal fitting 7 is fixed on the handrail 1, and the male metal fitting 8 is fixed on the bracket 5. The handrail 1 is made to slide downward along the bracket 5, while having the connection pin 85 positioned to align with an opening on a lower edge side of the hooking slot 75. This causes the connection pin 85 to be inserted into the hooking slot 75 and the hooking head part 86 to be hooked on both side edges of the hooking slot 75 in a pull-out-prevented state, thus fixing the handrail 1 to the bracket 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8C
