PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems when a cloth is cut by a cutter that a substrate material could get damaged by the cutter and damage might show on the cloth surface, thus deteriorating appearance, and if the damage is deep, a gap is formed at the spot that interferes with adhesion and leads to peel-off of the cloth from the spot.SOLUTION: An underlay tape is placed temporarily between a substrate material and a cloth at an overlapped part of adjacent side parts, when bonding the cloth on a surface of the substrate material. The underlay tape comprises paper made by a wet method that measures up to 0.2 mm in thickness, and containing 30 wt% or more of a short fiber derived by cutting a high-strength fiber having a tensile breaking strength of 13 g/d or more and a tensile initial elastic modulus of 350 g/d or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】カッターでクロスを切断する際、該カッターにより下地材に傷が付き、この傷がクロスの表面に現れて美観を損ねると共に、傷が深い場合には、その部分が空隙となるため、接着が不十分となり、当該箇所からクロスが剥がれるという問題点があった。【解決手段】下地材の表面にクロスを貼付する際、隣接する側部相互の重ね合わせ部の該下地材と該クロスとの間に一時的に設置する下敷きテープにおいて、該下敷きテープは引張破断強度が１３ｇ／ｄ以上、引張初期弾性率が３５０ｇ／ｄ以上の高強度繊維を切断した短繊維が少なくとも３０重量パーセント以上の構成となるようにした０．２ｍｍ厚以下の湿式法で抄造した紙よりなることを特徴とする下敷きテープ。【選択図】なし
