PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flood alarm system and a flood alarm method capable of adequately creating and announcing a prediction sentence of flood by a person in river-charge.SOLUTION: The flood alarm system is a system for transmitting a prediction sentence for announcing a piece of information relevant to a forecast of future water level in a river to the related organs. The flood alarm system has a notification section. When the measured value of the water level in the river exceeds a reference value, the notification section notifies a manager of the river to create a prediction sentence, and notifies a responsible person of the river that the prediction sentence has been notified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
